Random January Pictures

The past couple of weeks have been busy yet slow, if that makes sense. We have had a lot of bad weather so we have spent a bunch of time snuggled up on the couch. We've had a few pretty days that we spent outdoors - we made it to the dog park once with Rox and took the boys on a "hike" a few weekends ago. We've had a few b-day parties and other events so we've had plenty to squeeze in but it's been at a pretty nice slow pace.

Abby's Baby Shower

Abby and Russ are going to have a sweet baby girl in a few weeks (name still to be decided!) and the baby shower was last weekend. It was such a cute shower! Her best friend Tara pulled it all toegther from Florida (I think?) and hosted the shower at Kim's house. Everything turned out great! Abby is such a cutie and I can't wait to meet little miss!

Addyson's 5th Birthday!

Addyson had a swim party at the YMCA this year. The boys were super excited about getting to swim in January. The pool was seriously hot and steamy - felt like a sauna for all the parents and kept fogging up my camera so I didn't get too many water pics. Oh well! I can not believe this crazy little girl is going to start kindergarten next fall! Where does the time go???

Just realized I never posted these and thought I should! There are always a bunch of good ones but they just don't make the cut. I still think they turned out sweet and wanted to share a few of them.

RELAX!

Last weekend was a pretty lazy one. We didn't do much except when the Self's and the Thomas' came over to play on Saturday evening. I did a bunch of cooking to prepare for the work week and try out some new recipes. Here are a few pictures of the kids playing with Brent's X-Box Kennect. It's pretty cool and I think the guys had just as much playing it as the kids did!
